Haircolor Options

At The Hive, we believe in transparency when it comes to hair color services.  There is a lot of greenwashing in the beauty industry, leading consumers to feel that there is a magic, “organic”, 100% safe option for chemical based hair color. Sadly, the FDA does not regulate the beauty industry or what we put on our labels, causing both beauty professionals and consumers to be mislead. We offer our clients options: alternative chemical, or plant-based, or herbal hair color. For more information, please book a 30 minute color consultation with your desired stylist.

Herbal Haircolor- COMING SOON

Herbal haircolor is the only 100% plant based alternative for adding color to the hair. Since it has no chemical amplifiers, herbal hair color can only darken or add tone to the hair, and blend grey. It cannot lighten, or create dramatic changes in color. Herbal hair color contains Henna, and Indigo, so clients using this color are advised to not seek any highlighting or permanent hair coloring services after using herbal hair color. We can use herbal hair color in all-over color, and low lighting services. Upgrading your color service to herbal color will add on $9+ per ounce of color used.
